October has come and gone Agents of H.O.P.E
October has come and gone Agents of H.O.P.E and we were hard at work bringing awareness by doing our yearly community outreach. Thank you to our community partners Haitian American Lawyers Association of Georgia, H.A.N.A of Georgia, Precious Hands Homecare Services and Author Lyah Washington for helping us take a stance against all forms of violence towards women and educating our community on Domestic violence. Just a few snapshots looking at the month of October: 1.Intimate conversation with Author Lyah Washington and her journey having experienced DV.
2. HALAGA Roundtable Conference with Dr Bastien and Former Rep. Donna McLoud.
3. H.A.N.A of Georgia invited IWOH to the yearly health fair to speak on Domestic violence.
4. Precious Hands Homecare Services joined us in making a statement and wearing PURPLE for the month to let victims know that they do not stand alone.
5. Our monthly food pantry drive was a total success.
We also thank all the other Agents of H.O.P.E working hard behind the scenes.
