From July 30 to August 8, 2026, Marie’s Kitchen of Love, led by Angela Asse, carried out a service mission in northern Haiti with International Women of H.O.P.E., led by Rosebrune Vixamar, as its strategic partner.

Much of the mission took place with Sonjé Ayiti at the CEMA School of Hope in Limonade. The Marie’s Kitchen of Love team offered children and families educational activities, entrepreneurship and cosmetology classes, creative expression, and wellness support. International Women of H.O.P.E. helped connect the partners and assisted the team during its visit to Second Miles, which serves pregnant women, mothers, and babies.

Food distributions in Cap-Haïtien and Bois de Lance, Limonade, provided 140 complete kits and additional assistance to 60 households. The food outreach reached approximately 1,500 people, including families displaced from other parts of Haiti.

Special thanks to Mme Marie Jacques Audate and the women and men of International Women of H.O.P.E. in Cap-Haïtien who purchased supplies, packed food kits, connected with community organizations, and helped the distributions run smoothly. We also thank Mme Djephane Eugene and the owner of Au Galop kindergarten for allowing us to use their facilities for the distribution.
